Crate conditioning cont
This week, I put individual puppies in crates for a meal. These special puppies get a dab of wet canned food in their bowl so they are extra happy to be picked.
I am very careful to stay close and release any puppies who finish or stop eating and start looking concerned. I am not crate training now, just conditioning them to containment.

Higby :(
Our yellow collar boy Higby is no longer available. His leg was broken in an accident and he will be healing and rehabbing with me well past the go-home date of his siblings. As far as breaks go, it's a 'good' one. He's expected to make full recovery and suffer no effects as an adult. There's a possibility he will be placed as an older puppy once I am satisfied with his recovery.

Developing coordination
The same toys they ignored a week or so ago, they are charging over and into this week. The blue stairs and the lid of the turtle sandbox are prime King of Hill spots.
Candids

Higby is included whenever possible so that he is not isolated from his dam and littermates.
