Sometimes a match is not a good fit for the household or the dog. As his breeder, I am so thankful Syntax’s first home allowed him a chance for a better match.

His devotion to his person is intense. In a multi-dog/animal household, he became a jealous lover. Although Syntax has not shown the same guarding behaviors at my house with his dam and other residents, his former home and I agree he will shine as an only-pet.

Syntax is a lovely, biddable dog- sensitive to his environment and attuned to the energy of his handler. He does not seek attention from other dogs or strange people. He could be a companion and/or possibly a performance prospect for an experienced poodle handler.

I think his future home will enjoy his obedience foundation (huge credit to his first home!)- it allowed us to integrate him into our lives with little fanfare. I’ve taken him on various pet-friendly outings since his arrival: Home Depot, pet stores, my local dog training club, the usual. He rides well in the car both in a crate and hanging loose. He went camping with us at the end of September and had a grand ‘ole time. He’s a bold athlete of a dog and would make quite an adventure buddy.

His ideal placement would be a calm, structured household with a fenced-in yard.
